Tagged by SLANDER as their “biggest endeavor yet,” Starbase Music Festival‘s lineup has officially landed. The outer space-themed concert event launches on the weekend of October 8 – 9 at The Woodlands Nature Reserve in Charleston, South Carolina. The LA-based duo first publicized their intentions to organize their own melodic bass festival via Twitter in June, 2020. Today, a month after unveiling the official dates, SLANDER present Starbase Music Festival’s debut lineup—and it’s out of this world.
Starbase’s inaugural run welcomes 37 of electronic music’s brightest stars. To name a few, Alison Wonderland, Big Gigantic, NGHTMRE, San Holo, and Subtronics will bless the decks alongside the festival’s founding fathers. The Woodlands Nature Reserve is home to 6,000 acres of natural beauty, neighboring 11 lakes and an abundance of wildlife.
In a press statement, SLANDER explained,
“Starbase was an idea we had a few years back of creating a place where all our artist friends could come together, hang out, and play music for like-minded people. A place where everyone is accepted and loved. A place where you can open your heart, let go of all problems, and rage harder than you ever have before. A place where emotion meets power. We are so grateful this idea is now reality, and we can’t wait to feel the love that will be generated at Starbase. This is our biggest endeavor yet and our end goal with Starbase is to bring more light into this world. Superhumans, welcome home!”
Tickets to Starbase Music Festival go on sale on July 8, and can be purchased here. See the official lineup in full below.
