Originally dispatched by Huntleys + Palmers in 2013, SOPHIE’s debut EP, Nothing More To Say, is getting repressed in early 2022. Since SOPHIE’s tragic passing in January, pricing for vinyl copies of the late DJ’s first project spiked drastically. Thus, Huntleys + Palmers label head Andrew Thomson is seeking to promote the affordability of Nothing More To Say on vinyl. What’s more, proceeds from all sales of the repressed EP will benefit the Scottish Trans Alliance, a nonprofit part of the Equality Network, “working for gender identity and gender reassignment equality and rights in Scotland.”
The impending vinyl will reportedly contain both the vocal and dub versions of the EP’s titular track; in addition to, of course, the original studio cut of “Eeehhh.” In preparation for the re-release, stream Andrew Thomson’s audio-tribute to SOPHIE below.
