The Brooklyn Mirage‘s summer 2022 season will end not with a whimper but a bang.
The East Williamsburg venue’s fifth season of live music programming was unequivocally it’s most momentous one yet. From sold-out sets from some of dance music’s most in-demand (Zedd, Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers) to the revelation of impactful renovations that led Dancing Astronaut to declare The Brooklyn Mirage one of the country’s premier music venues, it’s safe to say that the Mirage team has event curation, production, and operation down to a science. And for the stragglers who’ve not yet experienced the Mirage at its apex this year, fortunately, there’s still time to do just that.
The 80,000-square-foot venue will feature a diverse cast of season-closing talent before the Mirage’s curtain call comes. Such a farewell wouldn’t be complete without Cityfox involvement, and attendees will find it in The Cityfox Experience: Transcend. The concluding festival, to be hosted from October 1 – 2, will be accented by four stages and appearances from underground authorities like Maceo Plex, Ben Böhmer (live), and Victor Calderone back-to-back Avision, culminating in 20-plus hours of live music.
Cityfox will subsequently bow to sets from Turnstile; SG Lewis, whose debut album, times, was named Dancing Astronaut‘s 2021 Album of the Year; Purple Disco Machine, and Grammy history-maker, Black Coffee.
