Tom & Collins, JADED, And CRCLE Release Their Fun, Functional White Isle Anthem “Ibiza”

Tom & Collins, JADED, and CRCLE are linking up for their new collab “Ibiza,” a fun and unforgettable house single arriving courtesy of Insomniac Records.

Mexico City’s Tom & Collins, UK’s JADED, and NYC-based CRCLE are converging to set the record straight for an age-old debate from the international party circuit. For their new single, the group of groove enthusiasts are touching on a hot-button topic for partygoers around the globe.

The title alone should spell it out thoroughly. “Ibiza” is a crash course in how to properly pronounce the name of the infamous White Isle. The track starts out unassuming enough, riding along a low-slung rhythm while a Spanish-speaking voice provides step-by-step instructions on how to enunciate each syllable. The message is hammered home as they layer in slinky basslines, rising synth triplets, robust percussive leads, and heavy-handed horn stabs. It’s a playful yet sensible club track that will finally settle the score once and for all.

Tom & Collins shares insight on how the track came to be, saying, “When we heard the vocal sample, we immediately knew it was a clever idea to produce around especially during peak season in Ibiza. We are happy to work with JADED again and a new friend and collaborator in CRCLE. This one will be fun to see the reaction of since Ibiza is typically mispronounced by so many people.”

JADED breaks down the track further: “It’s time to put an end to the debate on how you pronounce the name of the world’s number 1 party island… For the Brits, it’s usually as simple as ‘Beefa,’ but others would most certainly disagree. When Tom & Collins sent us the vocal sample, we knew immediately it was something special, so we gave it our signature beefy beat and grimey bassline to deliver the magnetic energy of the island and its ravers. There have been so many attempts by others to make a tune about Ibiza, but none have captured the sound of the island like this—so, we thought to ourselves, this is our duty to deliver something epic and timeless once and for all!”

Hailing from the heart of Mexico City, Tom & Collins is a house music duo that’s celebrated for extending their Latin heritage into a multicultural tapestry enriched with global influences. They originally graced the Insomniac imprint in 2022 with their gooey groove “Honey” alongside Hollaphonic, which was quickly followed up by their vibrant Spanish shaker “Se Va,” featuring the platinum-certified artists Cumbiafrica from Colombia. At the end of 2023, they circled back with their third single “Ando High” in tandem with innovative Afro house phenom AMÉMÉ, which has surpassed the 3 million stream mark, and garnered radio support from KISS FM UK, MK, Claptone, CID, Oliver Heldens, Armin van Buuren, and more.

Operating out of London, JADED is a production pair possessing a direct line into the underground house scene from their hometown. The multi-instrumentalist and tastemaking twosome are known for connecting the dots between their UK rave roots and their penchant for pirate radio to create chunky club cuts, sometimes with a crossover twist. They initially touched down on the label back in 2021 with their dark, sultry single “The Lights,” featuring London singer/songwriter Indira May. Later that year, they returned to cash in on their “Kerching” collab alongside Joshwa and vocalist Eliza Legzdina. The singles enjoyed combined radio support from Kiss FM UK, Diplo, Vintage Culture, Afrojack, TCTS, and Wax Motif, to name a few.

Based out of New York City, CRCLE is a fast-rising producer and multi-instrumentalist who’s style draws on a wide range of electronic influences, spanning from house to techno. After studying jazz guitar during his formative years, he shifted his focus over to electronic music and has since released music with Lucas & Steve, as well as the award-winning programmer and producer Liquid Todd.

With its diverse and dynamic headcount, the cheeky club collab “Ibiza” ticks all the right boxes to become a staple at the epicenter of nightlife. And, because of its inherent utility, there will be no more heated arguments about how it’s pronounced when revelers are frolicking there this season.
