Skrillex Drops 34-Track Surprise Album ‘F* U Skrillex’ to Exit Atlantic Records

Skrillex just nuked the internet with a 34-track surprise album titled Fuck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol But Ur Not!! <3> — his final release under Atlantic Records before going indie for good.

The drop came straight off the back of his massive Ultra Music Festival set, where he teased snippets to a hyped-up crowd during his first mainstage performance in a decade. Then, in classic chaotic Skrillex fashion, he emailed the full mix to subscribers under the mysterious label “FUS – FULL Album.” Hours later, he held a pop-up listening party at Miami’s Ice Palace Studios—invite-only via an RSVP link posted just hours before.

The album features an all-star roster of collaborators, including Dylan Brady of 100 Gecs, Starrah, Wuki, Boys Noize, and more. Stylistically, it’s a genre-hopping blitz: glitchy noise, ravey throwbacks, hardcore, hyperpop, punk distortion, and plenty of brain-melting bass. It’s messy, weird, explosive—and completely Skrillex.

This project follows his critically acclaimed 2023 dual release of Quest for Fire and Don’t Get Too Close, which helped reintroduce him to a broader audience after years of silence. That comeback was capped with a Grammy win for “Rumble” alongside Flowdan and Fred Again in 2024.

But this new drop is different—it’s not just a flex, it’s a farewell. Skrillex had been hinting at his Atlantic Records exit for months. In late 2024, he posted:

“I’ve never felt more inspired and in lockstep with my intentions as an artist… But ‘independent’ is such a strange term because I still depend on my team and the creatives around me.”

Now, with Fuck U Skrillex, he closes the chapter on the major-label grind and launches himself fully into the unknown. It’s raw. It’s unfiltered. And it’s loud about what comes next.

Is this the most Skrillex way to go out? 100%! The album is now live on all streaming platforms.
