As destination festivals continue to gain a foothold in the live events market, Kaskade is the latest DJ/producer to plan a branded event in international territory. In partnership with Festication, the organizer of Excision‘s Paradise Blue and ILLENIUM‘s Ember Shores destination festivals, Kaskade will host Sun Soaked from December 16 – 18 in Cancún, Mexico. Set at the Four Diamond Paradisus Resort and the Fiesta Americana Condesa, Sun Soaked will position sets from Kaskade and friends on Cancún’s white-sand beaches. The three-day affair will cater to attendees with one-of-a-kind day-to-night experiences soundtracked not only by Kaskade himself, but also by a select group of artists curated by the Kx5 constituent.
“Sun Soaked has become a unicorn in an over saturated festival world,” Kaskade said of the first-year festival. “A perfect trinity of sun, water, and sand. When we add music, everyone gets a day where they are elevated. Most people feel at least three times better than normal (*not a scientific fact but most likely true). I’m so excited to bring Sun Soaked to such a special location in Cancun, Mexico. The chance to stretch it out and see where we can take this vibe is something that is going to be extraordinary. I cannot wait to share it with you.”
Advertised as “the best weekend of your life,” Sun Soaked will offer a limited number of pre-sale packages ahead of public package sales on May 10. Register for the pre-sale here. Those who register will receive their pre-sale code at 11:30 a.m. ET / 8:30 a.m. PT on May 10. The pre-sale will formally begin at 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT, with the general sale set for 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.
Packages reflect all-inclusive pricing covering hotel, food, drinks, and airport transportation. Travelers are responsible for purchasing and booking their airfare. Additional information on Sun Soaked can be found on the festival’s website.
