Few cities outside of the UK have embraced the UKG sound with the same fervor as New York, and no artist has done more to elevate the genre on a global stage than Sammy Virji. On Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, the producer brings his signature style back to the city for two open-air nights on Pier 4 at the historic Brooklyn Army Terminal, marking the first American dates of his North America Tour 2026 Part 1.
Virji arrives at this milestone following the most successful stretch of his career. After securing Best Producer at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards last year, he sold out two consecutive nights at London’s 10,000-capacity Alexandra Palace this past April. His momentum has been relentless, highlighted by a massive crowd at Coachella, a BBC Radio 1 residency, and the gold-certified success of “If U Need It,” alongside his UK top 10 hit “Cops & Robbers” with Skepta.
Friday’s support features X CLUB., the duo of Ben Clarke and Jesse Morath, whose high-octane sets draw from 90s techno and drum and bass. They are joined by 33 Below, who will perform on both nights. Jack Laven, the producer behind 33 Below, has become a staple in the scene, known for his versatile work across garage and grime, including collaborations with Virji and support slots for Fred again...
Saturday’s lineup introduces Sam Gellaitry, whose unique sonic palette adds a distinct layer to the weekend. The Scottish producer, who rose to prominence via SoundCloud and later signed to XL, saw his 2021 single “Assumptions” dominate social media in 2025, eventually climbing to No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
The venue itself serves as a centerpiece for the event. The Brooklyn Army Terminal, a working industrial campus since the First World War, provides a stunning backdrop on the Sunset Park shoreline. With Pier 4 overlooking the harbor and lower Manhattan, the 18+ event promises a unique “daylight into sunset” atmosphere. For those who have experienced a Virji set, the promise of unreleased dubs and constant energy is a major draw. While Saturday is sold out, tickets for Friday remain available for those looking to catch one of the most influential figures in modern UKG.
