Model and actress Amber Rose announced her annual slut walk will be revived in 2022. Rose shared the news with her Instagram followers Thursday.
“My agent just called me slut walk 2022 is on!!!! Bigger and better than ever! God is good all the time!” wrote Amber Rose.
The former talk show host launched SlutWalk in Los Angeles in 2015 to challenge stigmas related to sexually liberated individuals. Since the first march, people of all colors, genders, shapes, sexual orientations, and sizes marched the LA streets to call for an end to rape culture, including victim blaming and slut shaming of sexual assault victims.
Amber, who is 37 allegedly canceled the event back in 2019, because of “toxic” friends. In an Instagram post announcing the cancellation of the annual walk, she said
“I stopped being friends with about 20 ppl last year,” the former talk show host wrote in a lengthy Instagram post. “I’ve had friends steal jewelry and money from me, sleep with my BF’s behind my back, male friends lying and telling people we were sleeping together, alcoholic drug addicts and abusive friends, toxic personality friends.”
Rose, also known as Amber Levonchuck, said she was focused on protecting her “energy and peace” and added that she didn’t want to call out the individual responsible publicly.
“That’s why I’ve been laying so low during this pregnancy,” she added. “No Toxicity will be tolerated over here only Positive vibes.”
At the time, the How To Be A Bad B*tch author was pregnant with her second child.
