Ashley Wallbridge, a Manchester-based DJ and producer, began his music career at 15 by sneaking into a Radio1 DJ competition with a fake ID.
His undeniable talent quickly propelled him into the industry. By 2017, Wallbridge had climbed to #116 in the DJMAG rankings. His 2012 debut album, ‘The Inner Me,’ achieved impressive iTunes chart positions: #5 in the USA, #9 in Canada, and #12 in the UK. His original tracks top dance charts, gather millions of Spotify streams and receive airtime from Pete Tong and David Guetta. Wallbridge has performed in over 70 countries, gracing renowned clubs like Hakkasan in Las Vegas and Ministry of Sound in London, and electrifying major festivals like Creamfields and Tomorrowland. In the studio, he collaborated with stars such as Avicii and Armin van Buuren. Working with Armada since 2016 is one of the biggest confirmations of Ashley’s hard work.
In 2018, he co-founded the label Garuda with Gareth Emery, and their 2019 release ‘Surrender,’ with dance music icon Darude, hit #1 on Beatport. Wallbridge’s 2019 album ‘Kingdom United’ topped the USA charts, reached the UK top 10, and amassed over 20 million streams. By 2022, his sound design skills had earned him accolades for his work with Aston Martin and Lotus.
C-Systems, consisting of Matt Allen and Akki Hisham, are best known for producing and DJing uplifting and progressive trance with a vocalist-centered approach. They are recognized for their melody-focused productions, with tracks released on labels like Armada, A State of Trance, and Pure Trance, receiving regular plays from top DJs. They have support from major dance music names like Insomniac, Transmission Festival, and Ministry of Sound. Recent highlights include remixing “It’s My Turn” by Angelic, collaborating with Chicane, and remixing Armin van Buuren’s tracks in December 2023. They have performed at Luminosity Festival, Ministry of Sound, Egg London, and A State of Trance Festival in 2024.
The collaboration between Ashley, Matt, and Akki began nearly a year ago when Ashley sent a demo track to C-Systems. The positive reaction from the duo sparked a fruitful collaboration, perfectly matching their styles. After refining the track by adding and removing different chords and melodies, they decided to test it live at A State of Trance and Ministry of Sound. “Limitless” received fantastic feedback from both fellow DJs and the audience, ensuring its release.
