Canada Closes Its Borders to Non-Citizens Due to Coronavirus

If Mexico completes its border wall now, some people in the United States stuck in the middle.

According to confirmed reports, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that he will be closing the borders to Canada to prevent the rapid spread of the Coronavirus.

Trudeau was very adamant about his position for Canadian and non-Canadians, saying, “Let me be clear, if you’re abroad, you should come home. If you’ve just arrived, you must self-isolate for 14 days.”

The border is closed to those without permanent residence status and non-citizens. Interestingly enough, citizens of the United States, cargo and commercial freight are exempt from this closure.
