Delta Heavy Announce Third Studio Album Midnight Forever

Drum and bass duo Delta Heavy make their return with the sudden announcement of their third studio album Midnight Forever, set to release sometime in 2024.

Details so far are minimal on the follow up to their 2016 debut Paradise Lost and 2019’s Only In Dreams, but fans should expect Midnight Forever to build on the duo’s well-established reputation for exquisite songwriting and immaculate production whilst exploring every facet of the genre.

In their own words:

‘Whilst we don’t want to give too much away at this stage we are thrilled to announce that our third album is coming next year. Midnight Forever represents everything that has taken us to this point: every club, festival and rave; every hour in the studio whether frustrating or fruitful; every high and low on this wild journey. This album is a tapestry not only of all our different musical influences but of all the personal experiences that have shaped our path . Whilst in the past we’ve experimented with various genres Midnight Forever is our ode to the genre of drum and bass, a love letter to the music that stole our hearts as a couple of underage teenagers braving the London scene. We’ve both been through a lot in the past few years and writing this album has actually felt cathartic. Beyond simply a collection of songs we’ve sought to create a world where the night never ends, a place to escape whether it’s introspection at home or hedonism on the dancefloor. Midnight is a time of magic and mischief, and the start of a new dawn. We are immensely proud of the music on this album, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience this with us. The complicated world we live in may spin on, but in Midnight Forever, we hope time stands still.”

Dare to embrace the eternal night. The first single taken from Midnight Forever, ‘Get Down Tonight’, which is out now.
