The Marcus Graham Project, Dreamville Ventures, and Apple, Inc. are partnering for the 20th iCR8 Bootcamp. The new agreement will continue to change the face of the marketing and media industry by providing twelve talented individuals with sponsorhsip in the bootcamp.
This is the fourth year Apple has contributed to the Marcus Graham Project. Their participation in the iCR8 Bootcamp comes after their June 2020 announcement of its Racial Equity and Justice Initiative last June and recent support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities through the Propel Center, an innovation and learning center.
“Our partnership with MGP is connecting us with and allowing us to keep learning from the next generation of thought leadership,” said Rayvon Carter, Writer and MGP Alumni. “We are excited to kick off another successful collaboration.”
Dreamville Ventures joins the iCR8™ Summer Bootcamp as a first-of-its-kind partner. The multi-disciplinary media organization, co-founded by Grammy Award-winning recording artist and entrepreneur, J. Cole, will fit as natural collaborators of culture and provide an authentic opportunity for Marcus Graham Project to continue its efforts to increase diversity and equity in music & entertainment marketing. The two groups will work together closely across a number of Dreamville verticals including music, TV and film, apparel, and live events.
“Our company was built on the premise that dreams become a reality, and we’ve created a home that challenges the industry standards. Our partnership with the Marcus Graham Project expands the Dreamville family by creating a pipeline to identify and develop emerging talent; all of whom we hope will leave the program feeling ready to conquer both the industry and their dreams as their true authentic selves,” said Candace Rodney, Executive Vice President of Dreamville Ventures & President of Dreamville Studios.
Interested applicants should visit the Marcus Graham Project website at www.marcusgrahamproject.org for more information about the iCR8™ Summer Bootcamp sponsored by Apple, Dreamville, and how to apply. Applications will be accepted until May 1st and the 12-week Boot Camp is slated to begin on June 15th.
