The Early Days: Eddy’s Introduction to Electronic Music
T.H.E – You began your music journey as a DJ at just 16. What drew you to Electronic music?
Eddy D’Amato: “I started as a promoter for events in my hometown, playing opening sets at their parties. I was fascinated by the energy of Electronic music and its power to transform the dancefloor. That’s what sparked my passion.”
Eddy credits early influences like Swedish House Mafia and Axwell for shaping his love of groove and melody, which continue to define his signature sound.
Evolution as an Artist
Eddy D’Amato officially launched his career in 2018 with a three-track Tech House EP. Reflecting on his growth, he says: “My earlier tracks were simpler. Over time, I’ve developed more complex, layered productions. The exciting part is knowing I have so much room to evolve further.”

It’s about taking care of yourself and coming back refreshed. As for gigs, I’ve learned to use downtime wisely by focusing on production and planning.”

Eddy’s goals include releasing music on leading Techno labels like Drumcode, expanding his live performances, and launching his own label to foster emerging talent.
