IVORY And HURTBOX Venture Into Uncharted Territory With Hard-Hitting Collaboration “No Man’s Land”

Paris-based producer IVORY is a legend in the bass music sphere with over a decade of dominance attached to his name.

Joining forces with rising French producer HURTBOX, the pair make their return to Gud Vibrations with a killer collaboration. “No Man’s Land” is a futuristic dubstep voyage from two of the genre’s most talented artists.

Venturing into uncharted territory with “No Man’s Land,” the dubstep dons IVORY and HURTBOX craft a monstrous, thematic banger that moves between engrossing soundscapes, booming 808s, and destructive drops. Risen from scorched earth, the single lures unwitting listeners into an inhabitable sector of bass music marked by desolate horn melodies and screwy hip-hop beats. The pitched-down vocals pack a rap-influenced swagger that’s chest-pounding while relaying an underlying sense of forewarning. The rave-ready synths stimulate the pace and give way to a blistering barrage of raucous riddim. The skull-shattering sequences are led by an endless onslaught of laserlike synths that are executed with ruthless precision. Growling low-end and explicit samples deepen the intensity and impact of this absolute weapon.

IVORY shares his excitement around the collab process, saying “Making music with Rudy [HURTBOX] IRL opened my eyes on how to not overthink when producing but having fun instead. We had so much fun making this song and will definitely work together again soon!”

Hailing from Paris, France, IVORY is a certified veteran in the scene with a career stretching over a decade across dubstep, riddim, drum & bass, and breaks. He made his debut on Gud Vibrations with a remix of SLANDER and Moody Good’s “Heartbreak.” His impressive career boasts collaborations alongside Bear Grillz, Kompany, Nitti, Diesel, SampliFire, Dodge & Fuski, plus remixes for Wooli, Kayzo, Herobust, Hairitage, Trampa, and Spag Heddy.

Fellow French producer HURTBOX has been crushing it with an aggressive sound that’s put the industry on notice. He graced Gud Vibrations last year with “Freaks,” a collaboration alongside his twin brother and fellow heavy-hitter HOL!. The track gained support from PhaseOne, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, and Mitcry while racking up over 440k streams.

“No Man’s Land” is a thrilling and threatening dubstep smash that illustrates why IVORY and HURTBOX remain at the forefront of the genre.
