The fiery hard-techno act MADGRRL has unveiled her newest project, MOVE MY BODY, the first installment of her two-track EP being released by Barong Family.
“MOVE MY BODY embodies the seducing energy and unity found in a 4AM warehouse, where the mesmerizing beat and immersive atmosphere merge everyone with the music,” MADGRRL says, as she reminisced about her recent Los Angeles play with promoters Closer and SXTCY on May 10th. “MOVE MY BODY is the first single from my debut EP, and this track marks my first original release that will define my sound moving forward.”
MADGRRL’s journey began by blending hard dance with bass/dubstep elements, offering fans a unique gateway to harder music within the bass music community. However, she underwent a profound self-discovery, realizing her true calling lies in the hard techno scene, where she found an unparalleled sense of connection with the music, the culture and the energy. Collaborating with artists like Yellow Claw, Krewella, GRAVEDGR, and more, MADGRRL’s recent tracks gained recognition in Billboard, EDM.com, Dancing Astronaut, UKF, and prominent lists. Her festival sensation remix of Flosstradamus’ ‘SIDE2SIDE,’ alongside Barong-signed artist Sky Sky, transcended genres with hard-hitting beats. She’s demolished top venues and festivals worldwide, from EDCLV to Bootshaus in Germany to Exchange LA, unleashing hard-hitting sets filled with relentless energy and madness.
