Belgium-based producer Mondello’G is making his debut on Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION with his new single, “Free Falling,” on July 16th.
Reminiscent of classic ‘90s sounds, “Free Falling” is a hyper-techno track building around romantic vocal belts, shimmery synth textures, bouncy basslines, and cascading piano keys reminiscent of dream trance and the golden age of Eurodance. Mondello’G’s production strikes a balance between a cathartic, emotional atmosphere and a fast-paced, modern techno vibe, poised to make waves on dancefloors and in
the hearts of those enjoying the trance-meets-techno movement.
Mondello’G is a creative type at his core, transforming his teenage passion for graphic design and art into a full-fledged production career, serving as a purveyor of the next wave of techno through his innate ability to create viral videos and remixes. Initially gaining recognition in the dance music scene over a decade ago as part of the duo Linka & Mondello, he has also collaborated with prominent artists such as Showtek, MAKJ, and ALOK, the last of which took the shape of “LET’S GET FKD UP,” which has amassed an impressive 139 million streams. This track gained momentum after Mondello’G’s TikTok posts collectively garnered nearly 5 million views from his
account.
