Just because the NBA players are in a bubble, doesn’t;t mean they don’t have strict rules they must obey.
ESPN’s Malika Andrews obtained a copy of a memo the NBA sent to players on Thursday, and it included reminders of several “campus rules.” One of them was to dress appropriately when having room service delivered.
The NBA wants its players to feel at home, but not too at home. Dressing appropriately, especially when receiving room service, is more of a protection from any misconduct or anything else. Getting room service in your underwear would definitely qualify as inappropriate during the Orlando bubble.
Between a snitching for a hotline for players leaving the bubble and now this, it seems the NBA is covering all their tracks to protect their players from themselves.
