Brinck Delivers Captivating Music Video For Her New Single, ‘Wannabe’

Drawing in followers from across the world, alt-pop sensation Brinck has taken the music scene by storm. Residing in the music hub of Los Angeles, California, Brinck traveled back and forth from Iowa when she was only 16 to chase down her ambitions. Her dedication and creativity allowed her to succeed, and after years of songwriting and collaborating with artists Brinck finally began her own project.

Starting off with a bang, Brinck dropped her debut EP “Here With Me” in March of last year. The hit indie anthem has already accumulated over half a million streams. Additionally, Brinck has featured, written, and top-lined on other tracks that have collectively received more than 6 million plays. Building on 2022’s momentum, Brinck is rolling into 2023 hot with her new single, “Wannabe”.

Talking about the theme and story in “Wannabe”, Brinck says, “I wrote ‘Wannabe’ about my experience first moving to LA and thinking I’m the shit. I was a goody two shoes straight out of Iowa and I thought I was going to be the next big thing the minute I got to LA. When in reality I hit a party phase, fell flat on my face, and had virtually nothing going on. I had a hard time connecting with the other girls and people out here, everyone I met I thought ‘One day you’re gonna wanna be my friend one day, my girl.’”

Throughout “Wannabe”, Brinck’s hypnotic lyrics are joined by powerful drums and infectious sequences of the guitar. This track emulates an aura similar to Lana Del Ray, encompassing Brinck’s angelic voice and transcendent melodies. Showing a different side of herself, Brinck has just released an exclusive music video for “Wannabe”. The smooth camera work highlights LA’s aesthetics and makes viewers feel like they’re back in the 70s. Overall, “Wannabe” has enabled Brinck’s fans to connect with her on a deeper level.
