In VRChat, where communities form around shared interests and recurring events, AUROMS has evolved into a creative network that brings together music, art, performance, and immersive experiences through recurring events and community collaborations. At the center of that activity is Aurora, whose background in live music and event organization informs how these virtual experiences are structured. Her path into VRChat reflects a combination of personal history, family influence, and gradual involvement in existing communities.
Aurora’s early life included a strong emphasis on education and adaptability, shaped in part by growing up in a Caribbean ABC island environment where multilingual communication was standard. She learned multiple languages—Dutch, English, Spanish, and Papiamentu—as part of a system designed to support a tourism-driven economy. This exposure contributed to a practical, communication-focused mindset that later translated into community interaction.
She completed a vocational program in IT Administration, building a strong foundation in information technology and systems management. After entering the workforce, she gained extensive experience in operations, corporate administration, finance, and client services. Throughout her career, she further developed skills in software development and process automation, including designing and coding an internal business application to support organizational workflows.

Alongside her professional career, she pursued artistic studies and creative exploration, developing interests in painting, music, digital art, graphic design, and other forms of artistic expression. This combination of technical expertise, creativity, and practical business experience shaped a multidisciplinary approach to both her professional and personal endeavors. During this period, she also balanced family responsibilities, including raising a child.
Although her professional background was not centered on VR development, her experience in information technology, software development, systems administration, and business process design contributed to a strong understanding of digital ecosystems. Over time, these skills supported her ability to organize virtual communities, coordinate events, manage creative collaborations, and develop structured frameworks for projects such as AUROMS.
Aurora’s introduction to VRChat came later, in 2025, when her daughter introduced her to the platform. Her initial interest was tied to a broader curiosity about “future realities,” combined with a practical appreciation for the platform’s convenience. The ability to socialize from home while still interacting with others in real time was a defining factor in her engagement.
AUROMS began as a music-focused initiative but has evolved into a community-driven creative network within VR. Through curated events and collaborations, it seeks to connect DJs, artists, performers, world creators, and audiences while encouraging creativity, positive expression, and meaningful social interactions. According to Aurora, the underlying goal is not simply to host events, but to create opportunities for connection. Through shared experiences, creative collaboration, and artistic expression, AUROMS aims to help people feel seen, valued, and part of something larger than themselves.
Aurora’s work with AUROMS illustrates how real-world experience in music and event organization can translate into virtual spaces. Drawing from a background shaped by family, local music scenes, and gradual immersion in VRChat, she has contributed to building a recurring event structure that emphasizes participation and consistency. As VR-based communities continue to evolve, efforts like AUROMS reflect a practical approach to sustaining social music experiences in a digital environment.
