Pioneer unveils powerful new DDJ-FLX6 controller

With products ranging from the industry standard CDJ model CDJ2000-NXS2 to top-notch entry-level equipment such as the DDJ-SB3 controller, it’s easy to see why the overwhelming majority of DJs around the globe trust Pioneer DJ for their hardware purchases. Pioneer DJ offers a wide variety of controllers, CDJs, and even all-in-one systems such as the XDJ product line that are uniquely tailored to any DJ’s needs. Now, in continuance of this tradition, the titan music company has unveiled its latest piece of hardware, the DDJ-FLX6 controller.

The DDJ-FLX6 was designed for DJs who specialize in cross-genre mixing. Boasting four channels and both Rekordbox and Serato compatibility, the DDJ-FLX6 is a welcome addition to the Pioneer DJ family that uses the power of new program, MergeFX, to help DJs seamlessly transition between two vastly different songs without worrying about BPM and key differences.

The DDJ-FLX6 also comes equipped with the tools necessary to create authentic sounding scratch sound effects and has performance functions that can be used in either Rekordbox or Serato. This functional controller will only set DJs back approximately $700 (£539), making the DDJ-FLX6 a mid-level piece of equipment that warrants investment.
