Roc Nation has officially unveiled JAŸ-Z30, a comprehensive, year-long celebration commemorating the 30th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt, the landmark debut album from JAY-Z. This initiative marks a significant milestone in hip-hop history, transforming New York City into a living tribute to the rapper’s enduring legacy through a series of immersive experiences, exclusive merchandise, and community-focused activations.
Beginning June 25, the celebration kicks off with an immersive takeover of the historic Bowery Station in Manhattan. This decommissioned space has been reimagined as a multimedia archive, housing rare memorabilia, archival footage, and interactive listening stations that allow fans to engage with the sonic landscape of Reasonable Doubt. The momentum continues with a series of high-profile anniversary concerts, including performances at Yankee Stadium from July 10–12, a show in Paris on September 10, and a final major event at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on October 23.
Immersive Experiences and Cultural Activations
In Brooklyn, the JAŸ-Z30 initiative partners with Apple Music to host a unique cultural and retail experience at Smack Mellon in DUMBO. This activation features large-scale installations inspired by iconic photography from the late 1990s, alongside exclusive music releases and DJ sets. The citywide tribute extends further through collaborations with Spotify, which includes custom wraps for the J and Z subway lines, as well as commemorative library cards available through the Brooklyn Public Library.
