Succeeding Live 10, Ableton Live 11 is expected to arrive early 2021 with a vast of workflow improvements and new sounds. Live 11 will offer a variety of new features including comping, MPE support (MIDI Polyphonic Expression), new experimental plugins, and more.
One of the leading digital audio workstations on the market, Ableton’s newest edition will receive a huge upgrade from its 2018 predecessor. Developers have made a point of impact focusing on the improvement of essential workflow features such as MPE support which allows users full-control on how they interact with their MIDI instruments and comping which gives users the ability to record and edit multiple takes in real-time.
Additionally, there will be a set of performance updates that will help musicians enhance their creative control while making music with tools such as Note Expression View as well as five new virtual instrument and effect plugins: Hybrid Reverb, Spectral Resonator, Spectral Time, Pitch Loop 89, and Inspired by Nature.
