BUKU Music + Arts Project made a name for itself as one of the most colorful, diverse, and well-rounded landmarks on the spring festival circuit. Missing the 2020 iteration due to COVID-19’s forced lockdowns, BUKU organizers are chomping at the bit for their return, so they’re hosting a one-time holdover branded Planet B, which manages to pack all the appeal of the New Orleans festival hallmark into a two-day fall event running October 22 and 23 this year. In characteristic BUKU fashion, Planet B promises a balanced blend of top-tier hip-hop and electronic acts, bringing Megan Thee Stallion, Illenium, Zeds Dead, Jamie xx, Alison Wonderland, Earthgang, Chris Lake, Playboi Carti, slowthai, and more to the Big Easy for its singular run ahead of BUKU’s full fledged 2022 return.
Breakout Artist of 2020 Moore Kismet is slated to take the decks, Subtronics and SVDDEN DEATH’s VOYD performance are due to bring the low-end, with Lucii, VNSSA, Purple disco Machine, and more in the mix. Presale begins Thursday, June 10 at 11:00 a.m. ET (10:00 a.m. CT). Grab tickets and get the full rundown on Planet B’s programming here.
