Following his return as Love Regenerator, Calvin Harris has unveiled a hypnotic visual accompaniment for his new single, “Live Without Your Love.” Recruiting Steve Lacy for the instantaneously groovy production, the latest material finds Harris and The Internet guitarist coalesce on a pulsing house track underlined by R&B flavors and acid tinges. The Defected Records debut lands as the freshest addition to the enthused release streak of EPs from his Love Regenerator project.
Directed by Emil Nava, the music video takes viewers on an immersive journey through Lacy’s “Speaker Store” as he appears on various screens, posters, billboards, and other surfaces in an array of psychedelic stylizations. Getting creative with the limitations of quarantine, Lacy and the crew also shared the behind-the-scenes footage of the green screen process.
