Ending a remix drought of nearly two years, Chris Avantgarde has finally secured another, this time for Dense & Pika‘s “Delta system.” Marking only his second release of 2023, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2023‘s remix follows the most successful track of his career and one of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of 2023, “Eternity” with Anyma.
While the remix of “Delta System” doesn’t necessarily fit the traditional mold of Afterlife‘s style of melodic techno, Avantgarde’s rework highlights his unique sound design, which has allowed him to thrust into the dance music spotlight throughout the past couple of years. Before receiving notoriety from “Consciousness” with Anyma, Avantgarde had already dipped his toes into the entertainment space with credits on soundtracks for Call of Duty, Marvel, FIFA, and a handful of Netflix and Amazon Prime TV shows. Possessing a high level of expertise in music production, Avantgarde has now taken Dense & Pika’s 2015 single, and subsequently turned in a darker and quicker version of “Delta System,” elongating and deepening the original for a punchier, more powerful form of the original.
