Chris Lorenzo has imparted his long-awaited festival ID “Pump” via his self-founded record label, Late Checkout. Last year, the man behind “California Dreamin’” launched his “quality club music” imprint with the intention of “providing a vehicle for [his] own music, but also [as] a way to support and collaborate with exciting artists who [he] respect[s] in the scene.”
“Pump” now marks Late Checkout’s second release to date, following Lorenzo’s July 2022 original “MAMI” with COBRAH. Lorenzo explained that “It took [him] a while to find a record in which [he] was confident enough to inaugurate the label until my “MAMI” collaboration with COBRAH came together,” While he hinted at the label name with his Late Checkout album released on Sixty6Music in 2019, it took three years for the label to officially materialize. Well, the time has come for a heavily road-tested addition to Late Checkout’s still-exclusive music catalog. Stream “Pump” by Chris Lorenzo below.
