Dancing Astronaut, RL Grime partner for ‘PLAY’ tour stop at Hammerstein Ballroom on November 10

After a half-decade wait, RL Grime‘s NOVA successor finally arrived in mid-September. A masterful, three-disc, concept-led adventure through the Sable Valley founder’s wide-scale production range, PLAY had already made its album of the year case on the streaming front. And while Dancing Astronaut had already gotten a glimpse into how it converts to a live setting—during RL Grime’s Brooklyn release party and at San Diego’s Petco Park for the start of its November live run—PLAY is about to make its way across the country.

One of those stops on the PLAY tour—which includes opening sets from both his “NME” counterpart JAWNS as well as 33 Below—is New York City, with a night scheduled ay Hammerstein Ballroom on November 10, and we’re incredibly proud to announce that Dancing Astronaut has joined as an official presenter of the evening. It’s been two long years since the trap god has touched down in the Big Apple, and there isn’t an ounce of doubt that PLAY will make for one of the most memorable live shows of the year. Tickets are still available here.
