After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Detroit’s esteemed Movement Festival is back with a lineup teaser that artfully bridges the gap between genre-defining veterans and today’s most in-demand techno acts. The teaser includes headliners Jeff Mills celebrating 30 years of his label Axis Records, Drumcode head honcho Adam Beyer, and tech titan Richie Hawtin, along with a tantalizing taste of the talent slated for the festival’s comeback. Festival goers will once again descend on the mecca of techno for three days over Memorial Day Weekend, May 28 – 30 inside Hart Plaza.
The lineup teaser includes a handful of powerhouse billings—from LCD frontman James Murphy to Maceo Plex, with Nina Kraviz, Seth Troxler, Paula Temple, Claude VonStroke, and Carl Craig in between. Goldie is slated to share the decks with LTJ Bukem, Eris Drew and Octo Octa will take the stage together, along with expected appearances by ANNA, The Blessed Madonna, and more. Tickets for Movement Festival are on sale now, offering both three-day and one-day passes.
