Diplo is shifting gears from Corona Sabbath and other digital festivals in the dance domain to play a different kind of virtual event, “Get Up, Stand Up!” Organized by Senator Kamala Harris and moderated by DJ Cassidy, “Get Up, Stand Up!” is a virtual fundraiser in support of Joe Biden that will feature performances from Diplo, Jermaine Dupri, Beverly Bond, DJ Cassidy, D-Nice, and Hannah Bronfman beginning at 7 p.m. ET on July 9.
Digital tickets to the live streamed event, heralded by Harris as “a dance party and conversation with our nation’s top DJs,” are available for $25. Instructions on how to join the virtual affair will be sent to all confirmed participants 24 to 48 hours prior to the event. Purchase tickets to “Get Up, Stand Up!” here.
