Popular podcast-turned-TV adaptation, Song Exploder is ready to drop a second crop of episodes following a well-received initial run of episodes that landed on Netflix back in October. The second season will explore songs by future pop force Dua Lipa, The Killers, Hall of Fame rock vets Nine Inch Nails, and Mexican singer-songwriter Natalia Lafourcade. All four artists featured in the second season have released at least one album in 2020, with Lipa expected to add to her emerging collection of gramophones behind an array of 2021 Grammy nominations
The show’s first season offered a deep dive into records by R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Alicia Keys, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Ty Dolla $ign. The second season of Song Exploder lands on Netflix on December 15. Watch the trailer for the upcoming season below.
