A lone rave synth lead zips frenetically through the febrile production, which evokes the darkness and grit of a warehouse situated somewhere in Brooklyn, where the urgency to move body to beat is greater than anyone’s awareness of the rising sun.
Of course, it bears mention that “Diamonds On My Mind” already commanded dance floors well before its official release, most notably serving as a flashpoint of John Summit‘s sets. It capably follows Eli Brown‘s fellow singles this year, “Be The One” and “Love Is Free,” in a dizzying affirmation of Brown’s ear for the underground’s next desire.
