Flume has a new album on the way.
On April 8, the Aussie producer took to Twitter to announce one “last NFT drop for a minute,” notably consisting of some “new album visuals.” This surreptitious disclosure is Flume’s first allusion to his next long-form project. Accordingly, no further details—including a release date—are currently available.
Flume’s most recent LP was Skin, which won the Grammy Award for “Best Dance/Electronic Album” in 2017. In the time since Skin‘s release, Flume has put forth a select number of releases including his highly lauded mixtape, Hi, This Is Flume. In 2020, he teamed up with Toro y Moi for “The Difference,” which went on to snag him a Grammy recommendation for “Best Dance Recording” at the 63rd annual awards ceremony.
