Fortnite continues its Spotlight concert series this week, hosting none other than hip-hop and R&B wavemaker Anderson .Paak on the game’s digital soundstage. The event will take place on September 19 at 5:00 p.m. EST, according to Fortnite’s official Twitter.
Epic Games hasn’t pulled any punches in their billings for Fortnite’s live concerts this year, already hosting household names from across the board including deadmau5, Diplo as Thomas Whesley, and Travis Scott. For those wondering about the success of the events, let the numbers speak for themselves. Travis Scott’s digital concert back in April wasn’t only attended by 12.3 million players when it was live, but has been viewed over 95 million times since on Scott’s personal Youtube channel.
Anderson .Paak is coming off a 2019 Grammy win for Best R&B Album with his ultra-smooth LP, Ventura. Those who can’t attend the concert’s first in-game broadcast can watch a re-run six hours later, at 11:00 p.m. EST, or the following morning, September 20, at 1:00 p.m. EST.
