Excitement for EDC Las Vegas brewed for the first few months of 2020, as fans anticipated the festival’s 24th edition. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic began to sink festivals left and right throughout the month of March, and it seemed only a matter of time before EDC was either canceled or postponed.
On April 3, Insomniac made the announcement that the festival would be moved to October. Luckily for enthusiasts and would-be attendees, the organization has revealed an event to tide fans over until autumn: a virtual rave-a-thon built around the spirit of EDC.
The EDC virtual rave-a-thon will take place on the festival’s original dates: May 15-17 and will be hosted by Pasquale Rotella. It will follow other Insomniac rave-a-thons, like Nocturnal Wonderland, Escape Psycho Circus, and Middlelands. No lineup has been announced at this time, but fans can check out the teaser below.
