Kill The Noise, Wooli team up on the ‘Song Of The Year’

Joining forces for their first independent collaboration, Wooli and Kill The Noise have dropped their track “Song Of The Year.” The tongue-in-cheek-titled production duet combines elements of dubstep’s bygone era, with an adapted, modern twist. With both artists’ extended tenure—especially Kill The Noise—in the EDM scene, the sound design clearly harkens back to old school dubstep sounds in spectacularly video game-reminiscent, heavy-hitting fashion.

Wooli’s release record has swayed towards heavy dubstep, while growing his increasingly popular house alias, Stumpi. Though, Kill The Noise has long been devoted the breakneck dubstep dancefloors he knows and loves (and who love him). All things considered, “Song Of The Year” is a nostalgic step into slightly left of field, with innovative gusto, for both artists. Released on Cyclops Recordings, the track certainly paves a probable route for future collaborations between the auspicious bass brethren.
