Movement Detroit‘s 2021 iteration, rescheduled for May 29 – 31, has been cancelled due to continuing COVID-19 health concerns. The news follows Movement’s initial COVID-19-related postponement from September 11 – 13, 2020 to May 2021.
Festival organizers formally announced the 2021 festival’s cancellation in a February 17 statement:
“We have been looking forward to reuniting with all of you on Memorial Day weekend, but the ongoing pandemic and state regulations have led to the painful realization that our beloved Movement Festival will not happen in May 2021.”
The Movement team promised more information on “future dates and ticketing options” to come in March. Read the full statement below.
