Deep in the Central American jungle lies the beautiful country of Costa Rica—and incidentally, the most illustrious names dance music has to offer, too. From January 6–9, Ocaso Festival will help attendees escape the winter, bringing a potent dose of deep, melodic, and tech house prominence due south. Billed as an underground music festival, the event’s headliners consist of largely European mainstays as opposed to your run-of-the-mill American roster for music festivals. Solomun, one of the longest-standing resident DJs in Ibiza, will headline the festival while Michael Bibi, Adriatique, Dixon, Fideles, and more lend wild and welcomed support.
Ocaso Festival amounts to eons more than a music festival. Touching down on the outskirts of the jungle, along the sandy beaches of Tamarindo, Ocaso is a hypnotic, tropical escape from the yawning everyday. The four-day festival will be packed with parties featuring Pacific Ocean-side sunsets that stretch late into the blissful, breezy night. The beach landscape, warm weather, and natural beauty of Costa Rica make for a hotly coveted destination festival experience. Tickets to Ocaso Festival can be purchased here.
