One of 2022’s most supported releases and one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Top Tracks of 2022 has received its official remix package. That’s none other than Ray Volpe’s “Laserbeam,” with him tapping Blanke, Sullivan King, Eliminate, Good Times Ahead, YOOKiE, 4B, Stumpi—the release debut of Wooli’s house alias—and Egzod.
The eight-part remix pack covers an array of genres and styles. From house by Wooli‘s alter-ego Stumpi to drum ‘n’ bass from Blanke’s ÆON:MODE alias—which was released through SoundCloud in July of 2022—to Sullivan King’s “Laser Scream,” all eight undertakings bring something unique and fresh to the “Laserbeam” table. For those still unaware, Volpe’s original was one of the most in-demand releases of the previous year, earning the most plays of any unreleased track at EDC Las Vegas and rinsed out by a never-ending list of DJs. And these reworks pay homage to the original song while uncovering a different dimension of the track through its respective remixer.
