In honor of Black History Month, SAYMYNAME is partnering with Insomniac Events for “One Beat,” a celebration of unity and equality that will take place at Exchange Los Angeles on February 4. A portion of the event’s proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization Local Hearts Foundation, which seeks to “build bridges of opportunity for everyone while motivating our youth to become more involved in civic change.” SAYMYNAME will be joined by BLVCK JESUS, MADGRRL, Dack Janiels, GAWM, ETC!ETC!, JMoss, and Izadi at the event, set to kick off at 10:00 p.m. local time.
The producer’s One Beat series dates back to 2020. In partnership with Insomniac Events, SAYMYNAME presented the first One Beat show via livestream at one of the most socially and politically divided times in modern history. Black Lives Matter was the focal point of the stream, which sought to offer a creative platform to uplift Black artists in the music industry while raising money for charity and raising awareness of the lack of minorities in the music industry.
Tickets to SAYMYNAME’s live, in-person One Beat event are on sale now and can be purchased here.
