Shambhala Music Festival was amongst the myriad of large-scale events that cancelled their 2020 plans. However, its organizers have finally announced an official return date for its 23rd installment in 2021. The news was shared via Shambhala’s social media, linking to a full statement on their website.
Initially set for July 2021, the distinguished festivities will now return to the vast farm lands and luscious riverbank at Salmo River Ranch from August 20-23, giving every member of the “Farmily” some much-needed good news. The announcement states that current ticket holders—following the “all sales are final” policy—will be able to redeem passes for 2021, 2022, or 2023, with more tickets set to be released in early 2021.
What started as a 500 person fiesta on Labor Day Weekend 1998, showcasing local art and music, has turned into a 15,000 person event with esteemed artists spanning the globe and six unique stage designs. 2020’s edition would have featured the likes of Richie Hawtin, Tycho, deadmau5, and REZZ, so expect a similar lineup for 2021 and beyond.
The 23rd Annual Shambhala Music Festival will now take place from August 20-23, 2021. We have made the decision to change the dates to ensure that we have ample time to prepare, given the uncertainty of the past year.
