AIRGLO Constructs Filthy, Cosmic Drum & Bass Weapon “Raggamuffin”

Los Angeles-based producer AIRGLO is returning to Bassrush Records with his first standalone single.

“Raggamuffin” is a blistering drum & bass ripper destined to destroy dancefloors. The track follows his remix of REAPER’s “MAKE A MOVE,” as well as the impressive “Turbine,” which arrived as part of the label’s ‘Prophecy Vol. 8′ compilation.

“Raggamuffin” takes listeners on an epic journey that moves between cosmic soundscapes and anabolic drum and bass drops. The opening is epic, fueled by intergalactic melodies and emotive vocal bends that seemingly pummel towards a distant galaxy. Guttural rudeboy vocals give the track its namesake and act to shift the scene to a gritter direction. The drops are pulse-raising and brain-bending, as piercing synth stabs, discordant string plucks, squawking synth riffs, trembling one-shots, and bouncy bass collide seamlessly. The energetic drums drive the track, giving it an immense gravitational pull. Embracing an intricate dance between filthy and stunning, “Raggamuffin” is a standout heater from the rising talent.

“I’m extremely proud to be a part of the new wave of drum n bass,” says AIRGLO. “And I’m very excited to showcase my originals on such an epic label as Bassrush alongside talents like Teddy Killerz, REAPER, and many more!”

Los Angeles-based producer AIRGLO has been on an unstoppable ascent in the DnB arena with a reputation for constructing dynamic and intricate dancefloor weapons. His music has been championed by legendary tastemakers such as ANDY C, Sub Focus, Dimension, A.M.C., and Macky Gee. AIRGLO has also received radio support on KISS FM and Zeds Dead’s ‘Deadbeats Radio.’ Adding to his résumé, he provided direct support for 12th Planet on his massive North American tour last year.

“Raggamuffin” is an intergalactic Drum and Bass weapon that’s destined to make a deep impact when it’s hurled through the bass music space.

AIRGLO’s new single “Raggamuffin” is available on all platforms via Bassrush Records.
