Morgin Madison is preparing to unveil his third studio album, Another Eden, scheduled for release on November 6 via Enhanced Recordings. This upcoming project represents a profound shift for the producer, serving as a sonic documentation of his personal evolution and recovery over the past year and a half.
Throughout his career, Madison has established himself as a fixture in the melodic dance music scene, earning recognition with Billboard-charting tracks and supporting roles for industry heavyweights such as deadmau5, Kaskade, and NERO. While his previous work, including his debut Living the Phantasm and the follow-up Odyssey, showcased his technical prowess in progressive house and trance, Another Eden finds him exploring a more expansive and vulnerable creative territory.
The genesis of this album lies in a major life transition for Madison in 2025. Following a decision to embrace sobriety, he found himself re-evaluating his relationship with his craft. Reflecting on this period, he shared, “Another Eden is an audio diary of the last year and a half of my life. In 2025 my life started to change really quickly after I got sober. I wasn’t sure if I could still make music like I used to, or if I even wanted to.”
For years, the artist had operated within a cycle where his professional touring life and personal habits were inextricably linked. Upon stepping away from that environment, he had to rediscover his intrinsic motivation for music. A pivotal moment occurred during a difficult summer when a friend offered a metaphor that resonated deeply: “Right now your garden of life is poisoned, and it’s up to you to bring it back to life.”
“That advice hit me hard,” Madison said. “I realized that the best days of my life are ahead as long as I have the discipline to stay present and show up for myself.”
Embracing this new perspective, Madison intentionally disconnected from social media to focus on his well-being and creative clarity. The resulting compositions are characterized by a brighter, more liberated sound that prioritizes emotional resonance over genre expectations. While the project retains the melodic depth that defined his earlier success, it incorporates a broader stylistic palette.
Listeners have already received a glimpse into this transition through four lead singles. The collaborative effort “The Otherside,” featuring LeyeT, establishes a foundation of hopeful warmth, while the Kindrid and Linney-assisted track “Healing” captures the raw frustration and uncertainty he navigated during his recovery. These tracks, alongside “Thinking Of U” and “Follow You,” illustrate a multifaceted artist who has emerged from his period of introspection with a renewed sense of purpose.
