Gabry Ponte has made a whopping techno single La Techno with T78, which combines the pairs esteemed talent for making high-energy music.
“La Techno” is a steamroller of a track that has old-school vocal samples, and intense acid synths layered with pounding percussion. It has a timeless sound combining classic elements with contemporary production, and it has already earned support by DJs ranging from Space 92 to Mark Sherry.
The single is out on PENTAPHONIA, which is a label run by Gabry Ponte as an outlet for the techno side of his sound. He is an accomplished producer who throughout his career has not been scared to innovate with an eclectic range of styles. He is mainly known for his mainstage and trance tracks on labels like Spinnin’ Records, Armada and Ministry of Sound, but he was also a part of the ‘90s pop band, Eiffel 65.
T78 is a highly respected techno producer who has previously worked with Gabry Ponte on a track released by EXTATIC Records. T78 is founder of the well-respected Autektone Records, but that hasn’t stopped him from also releasing music on other genre defining techno labels such as Filth on Acid, Codex, Legend and Fe Chrome.
