According to several confirmed reports, the main suspect in the death of Black Lives Matter activist Oluwatoyin Salau has finally confessed to the murder.
49 year old Aaron Glee Jr. confessed several times to murdering Oluwatoyin as well as 75 year old Victoria Sims, a volunteer and retired state worker, in Tallahassee, Florida. Glee waived his right to remain silent and told local officers from the Tallahassee Police Department and the Orlando Police Department everything that happened in the two gruesome slayings.
Salau had been missing since June 6 and Sims went missing on June 11. Police found the bodies of both women after tracing Sims’ cellphone to Glee’s address. Both women had just met each other just days before they were both killed by Glee in his home.
Speaking on the death of the 19 year old activist, court documents reveal “Glee explained how over the course of several hours he would re-enter the bedroom multiple times to see if [she] was still alive. Ultimately, he entered into the bedroom and determined [she] was deceased.”
Glee admits to raping Salau several times over the course of three to five days, but doesn’t exactly remember because he says h was under the influence of alcohol. He also admits he kept Oluwatoyin prisoner in his dilapidated home located on Monday Road for several days, as he continued to repeatedly rape her. He eventually said he decided to kill her to avoid getting caught by authorities.
Glee is currently being held without bond.
