Nashville’s Logan Garrett Drops Club-Ready Track ‘Deep End’ with Skizzy Mars

Logan Garrett, a DJ and producer based in Nashville, TN, recently collaborated with Skizzy Mars on the tech-house track “Deep End.” This record blends late-night house rhythms with the emotional depth that marks Mars’ music. Garrett, who has long admired Mars and frequently features his music in his playlists, aimed to create a track that suited his own DJ sets while respecting the emotional layers Mars is known for. After several weeks of work, Garrett reached out to Mars with an instrumental version, and despite Mars’ busy schedule, he perfectly captured the intended feel of the track.

Garrett’s background in hip hop, particularly through his work with rapper Starlito and the Grind Hard imprint, infuses his approach to music production. His career highlights include managing and collaborating with prominent hip hop artists and expanding his reach into electronic music. His past releases, such as “Pitted” featuring Roscoe Dash and “Kelly Rollin” with Subrinse and Gorilla Zoe, demonstrate his ability to merge these genres successfully. “Got It All,” released in March 2022 featuring Rich Boy, and his drum and bass track “Aliens Exist,” unveiled at SXSW 2023, further showcase his versatility.

Garrett continues to play an active role in the Nashville music scene, holding multiple DJ residencies and planning further tours in the Southeast. As he develops new music, his previous works continue to receive attention from both electronic dance music outlets and DJ communities nationwide. This ongoing engagement with various facets of the music industry underscores his commitment to exploring and blending musical styles.
