Into this space walked DJ PhoeniX, an artist whose own history of medical challenges—including hydrocephalus and seizures—mirrored the resilience Mirage championed. For PhoeniX, VRChat was the logical evolution of his career as an online streamer. By bringing his hardstyle, techno, and house sets into the virtual realm, he found a way to turn his personal scars into a shared experience, creating landmarks of sound that allow listeners to escape their own daily battles.
