There is a new player stepping into the U.S. dance music space, and it is not tiptoeing in. Kustom Entertainment is making its presence known with a bang: Global Frequencies, a one-day EDM event landing Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas. This event serves as the opening salvo in a wider slate of electronic music programming the team is rolling out across the country.
The first-wave lineup makes their intentions clear. The bill is anchored by DJ Diesel, the bass-heavy alias of Shaquille O’Neal, alongside Loud Luxury, TroyBoi, Alison Wonderland, and festival heavyweight KSHMR, with additional artists expected to be announced.

For Kustom, Global Frequencies represents a strategic shift. The company has built its reputation on large-scale live events, including its flagship country festival, Country Stampede, which is now celebrating its 30th anniversary. By applying this operational pedigree to dance music, the team is betting that the appetite for EDM extends well beyond coastal hubs and into markets that rarely host shows of this scale.
The timing of the event is another calculated move. Global Frequencies is scheduled for the same weekend as the 30th anniversary of Country Stampede, taking place June 25–27. This creates a back-to-back destination experience at the Azura Amphitheater, transitioning from three days of country music into a Sunday dedicated to bass and production.
"As founder and co-executive producer of the Electronic Dance Music Awards, we’ve seen how powerful dance music can be when the right artists, production, and crowd come together," said Sean Hamilton. "Global Frequencies is bringing that energy to Kansas City, and we’re proud to have helped connect the show with artists who are going to deliver."
"Global Frequencies is built to be loud, bold, and unforgettable," added Matt Tholen, Vice President of Operations at Kustom 440, Inc. "Kansas City is ready for a major EDM moment, and this lineup brings international energy fans here haven’t seen at this level."
Ultimately, the venture is a testament to the belief that dance music culture is not confined to specific regions. On June 28, Kustom aims to prove that a field in Kansas can carry the same intensity as any major festival site. For the organizers, this is merely the first chapter in a much longer story.
