Canada's 2020 Shambhala Festival canceled due to COVID-19

In a move that’s as expected as it is gut-wrenching, Canada’s 2020 Shambhala Music Festival has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. A statement released on the event’s Facebook page explained that the decision comes with “the heaviest of hearts,” but that fans can expect Shambahla 2021 to bring the distinguished electronic festival back to glory.

One of the hot topics following festival postponements and cancellations this year is ticket refunds, to which Shambhala has commented that ticket holders for this year’s event will be granted a voucher to one of the next three Shambhala festivals, citing the FAQ section on the festival’s website that states “all sales are final” for the lack of refunds. For more information regarding this year’s ticket information, visit the events recently updated ticket holder page.

Shambhala is known for its ability to fuze exhilarating electronic genres under the same banner, with their lineup this year including Richie Hawtin, Tycho, deadmau5 as Testpilot, and REZZ.
