Cloonee is back just in time for the start of summer, returning to his very own Hellbent Records with “Fuego.” Fresh off a recent tour announcement, Cloonee is set to take his punchy style of minimal tech house to Italy, Spain, Croatia, and—of course—the United States. One of the fastest-rising DJs in the house space, Cloonee has quickly built up the rapport of his own label imprint, which only launched just over a year ago.
Debatably his most unique track to date, “Fuego” takes significant risks with off-beat synths and unconventional drum kicks. An aptly self-described track, “Fuego” furthers Cloonee’s dive into Latin-inspired vocals to add extra fuel to his dynamic basslines. Used as the opening track for Cloonee’s DoLab set at 2023’s Coachella, “Fuego” marks the beginning of a new era for Cloonee, who explained that he’s now satisfied with a “newer direction” he’s taking.
