The respective recreational worlds of gaming and music continue to collide under Fortnite‘s tutelage. Fortnite developer, Epic Games, has tapped Dillon Francis, deadmau5, and Steve Aoki for the Fortnite Party Royale premiere party this Friday. Kicking off at 9 pm ET on May 8, the virtual event will feature digital performances from each of the three headliners—akin to Travis Scott‘s recent Astronomical Fortnite concert.
Those who either miss the May 8 Main Stage affair or hope to indulge in an encore of Francis, deadmau5, and Aoki’s sets can tune in to Fortnite’s rebroadcasting of the one hour event from 2-3 pm ET May 9. To join the party, Fortnite players need only to select the “Party Royale” playlist in Battle Royale. More information about the event is available, here.
Fortnite now has over 350 million registered players! In April, players spent over 3.2 billion hours in game. 🙌🥳
